Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Ngejawantah collects, what it is used for, who helps us process it, and what rights you have over it. We follow Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022, "UU PDP").

Who we are

Data we collect

When you sign up through the "Start free" form:

  • your name, work email, company name and phone number;
  • the platforms you want to post on (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok);
  • your consent to this policy.

When you use the service:

  • the voice notes and notes you send, with their transcripts;
  • content drafts, revisions, approvals and posting schedules;
  • information about your business that you share, and the "voice memory" we build from your voice notes and revisions so drafts sound like you.

When you visit this site: technical data such as your IP address and browser type, logged by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention. This site uses no advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

How we use it

  • to set up your account and contact you by message and email;
  • to write content drafts for your account, in your own words;
  • to send your weekly question, reminders and service updates;
  • to keep the service secure and meet our legal obligations.

Your voice notes, notes and content are only used to write your content. We never sell them and [CONFIRM: we do not use them to train general AI models].

Legal basis

We process your data based on the consent you give when you sign up, and to provide the service you asked for. You can withdraw consent at any time; we then stop processing your data, except what the law requires us to keep.

Who helps us

We use these providers to run Ngejawantah. They process data only on our instructions:

  • Cloudflare: hosting for the site and service;
  • Resend: sending email, including sign-up notifications;
  • [FILL IN: transcription and AI provider used to write drafts];
  • [FILL IN: messaging service used for the weekly question].

Some of these providers store or process data outside Indonesia. We only use providers whose data protection is equal to or stronger than what UU PDP requires.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. Sign-ups that don't go on to an account are deleted after [FILL IN: e.g. 6 months]. When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, it is deleted within [FILL IN: e.g. 30 days], except what the law requires us to keep.

Your rights

Under UU PDP you have the right to:

  • know what data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • have your data deleted;
  • withdraw consent and stop receiving messages from us.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only the people who need it to serve you can access it. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you as UU PDP requires.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we email you before they take effect.
